Canva Design Workshop

I have really enjoyed creating, planning, and putting on this event from start to finish. This event aimed to bring awareness of Canva and its tools to Tech students and faculty and guide attendees to gain a strong foundation in designing basics. While this session only scratched the surface of everything we could share through this event, I am excited to develop this event further in the future. The experience of creating this event from scratch allowed me to lean into both my creativity and organizational skills and to share valuable information with students and faculty.

Table for 10

Through my position in the Professional Readiness and Leadership Center, I was able to put on our Table for 10 event. This event is a networking opportunity for students in the College of Business to dine with two business professionals in their field of study. We hosted ten students and two business professionals in the Business Information Technology field at a local restaurant, and it was a great opportunity for these students to learn more about BIT as a profession while enhancing their networking skills.
